RLT Storm Over Pemigewasset Fine Art Poster

This poster is produced in two versions Mt Pemigewasset - so named because it is by legend the profile of a very early pre-colonial chief of the Abenaki not reflected in written historic records but in oral history there are stories about such a person.  Unlike the person of Chocorua, who is most likely a fictitious figure,  more of a composite of Native American people living in the early days of colonization, at least in the oral history there are actual legends built around the specific name of Pemigewasset.

While the term "Indian" is no longer seen within the community as a pejorative there remain those who find it offensive and for that reason, as the decendant of an Abenaki and Iroquois grandfather , I am sensitive to the issue, I have produced 2 posters one with the "Indian Head" moniker and the other with the name of Pemigewasset himself.
