Light Play on The Roaring Fork (Without & Without Poem)
In memory of Nan Darack Fuhrman, Alice's beloved friend & college roommate
Cottonwoods coated with rime from the early morning mist along the Roaring Fork River in Aspen Colorado seem to gleam and glow in the light, offset by the dark of the spruce and their own trunks. 50 signed originals, an 8x10 small work and a 25x30 large print are the limit of the signed printing.
Accompanying Poem
Light Play on The Roaring Fork

A ring around the moon
Early morning Aspen dawns
Drawing mist from Roaring Fork
Coating Cottonwood then gone
Drawn from the Dawn
Dawned from the Drawn
Cast across cottonwood, spruce and fir
Concatenating creations of light that stir
Gifts of the great mystery.
