Icefall in a gorge along Smart's Brook in Thornton, NH. Walking along the Smart's Brook Trail in the Waterville Valley Region of New Hampshire the hiker comes to a gorge carved into the mountainside where the ice flows from the cliffs adjacent to Smart's Brook, picking up various minerals from the soil and rock as the water makes its way to the brook and revealing a rainbow of beautiful colors.  From a series of images captured along Smart's Brook in Waterville Valley. NH.
